Demystified and Cooking with Steam was born out of necessity. Co-founder Linda McGowan purchased a combi steam oven some 5 years ago and at the time there was little or no information about what these appliances could achieve … until now.

Demystified answers the most common question your customers have “What can you cook with steam?” in an easy to understand, simple to follow format. Each recipe has a list of ingredients, equipment and useful hints and tips so that your customer can get the most out of their combi/steam oven purchase. From simple breads, soups and snacks to sublime Peking duck, fish and beef dishes and of course desserts, Demystified covers all the bases that home cooks will need to achieve great results.

All the recipes in Demystified are not oven specific; only two (2) terms are used in the recipes (steam & combi) and we rely on the most important factors for our recipes when cooking…time and temperature.
